Pen Care

All of our pens are made from the finest components but as with all things they require some care and maintenance. WOOD PENS: All the finishes I use are hard finishes but woods can be scratched with daily use. To protect the finish use a good furniture polish every so often. Never leave your pen in a hot car as the heat can damage the finish also. One more word on wood. Wood expands and contracts, some more then others. Pen Plating

Plating pen kits utilizes a process where precious metals are electrically, chemically, or mechanically deposited onto the surface of the pen's parts. GOLD PLATING: the most common pen finish, although many of the silver finishes have become more popular recently. Gold plating is ultimately not durable when exposed to abrasion. Even the best plating will eventually abrade - it just takes a lot longer to do it. Bowl Care

To keep your wooden bowl good for a long time you should never soak the wooden bowl. When you wash a wooden bowl don't put the wooden bowl directly into the water. Instead wash your wooden bowl as soon as you are done using it. Never let wet or hot food stay in a wooden bowl too long since you do not want the food to dry onto the wooden bowl.
